1/30/2010 - “Creasey Family” Airs January 31, 2010

Lexington, NC -  ABC has announced Sunday January 31, 2010 as the air date of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition build for the Creasey family.  The home built under the leadership of Jason Hedrick, Hedrick Creative Building brought more than 2500 volunteers together to build a house in just 106 hours.  Celebrity recording artist, Jewell and her World Champion bull riding husband, Ty Murray  volunteered with building this home for a very deserving family.

The nation gets a look at the surprise wake up call to the family by Ty Pennington, demolition of the old house and preparation beginning in the rain for a new home.  As the house is ready and the crowd yells “Move that Bus”, William and Tricia Creasey and daughters, Brittnay, Makayla and Makenzie return from a vacation to Disney to their brand new home built by their community of family and friends.

During the weeks build, videographer, Dwight Leonard and family assistants captured all the “behind the scenes” activities through the lens of cameras.  From that footage a Builders DVD is being produced as memorabilia for all involved as volunteers or spectators.  The video shows scenes starting with the demolition and ending with the family at home as well as conversations with neighbors and volunteers.

Donations are still being accepted for the home build and the Creasey family.  For any minimum donation of $20 or more, donors will receive a copy of that Builders DVD after the show airs on January 31.    Donations can be made at  HYPERLINK "http://www.hedrickextreme.com" www.hedrickextreme.com.  (Donations will reserve a free DVD which will be sent out after January 31, 2010)
